Cali came to Animal Lifeline with sores all over her body, blind and having troubles breathing.  After an exhaustive number of tests it was determined that Cali had a pretty rare fungal infection that could take a very long time to clear up.  She is such a sweet cat and through all of this still tries to purr even though it sounds a little "rough".  In the short time she has been with us, she has stolen our hearts.  She is a trooper, lets us give her the necessary medication, and we believe she is starting to see shadows.  For a sick cat, she just loves to eat and is gaining weight!  She is not available to be reserved or adopted yet, but she would welcome sponsors

 to help with the cost of her care.  UPDATE December 1, 2009:  Cali is fully recovered and looking for a family that will give her lots of love and attention and a big fluffy bed!
