Flojo was born in August 2007 and is a gorgeous brindled greyhound that arrived with a broken leg.  She underwent surgery on April 9 and will have the external fixature on her leg for at least 8 weeks.  We expect a full recovery .  Flojo is a little shy and not quite sure what is going on but we will work with her over the next 8 weeks to bring out her graceful personality.  We are accepting applications for Flojo, but she will not be available for adoption until we get the word that she is healthy enough to go to a forever home.   If you can't adopt Flojo but would like to help her find a loving home please consider sponsoring her picture in the Des Moines Register! 100,000+ people get the Des Moines Register and we always get great responses whenever we are able to put in additional pictures!
