- Maggie was found with sores all over her
body and no mom or littermates around. Upon closer inspection, at
the vet, it was discovered that she had maggots in her sores.
Because of this, her fur had to be shaved so the sores could be cleaned
and medication applied twice a day. She is a cute little kitten that was
born approximately May 18. She is doing well, eating on her own
and seems to really like attention. She is too young to be seen as she
has to have vaccines and a FIV/Leukemia test when she is 9 weeks old.
Then she could be reserved. Watch the website for updates on her
progress.
- UPDATE: June 16 Maggie is doing well and
her sores are all healing well and her fur is starting to grow back!
