Mitze is a stray that was lucky enough to find a kind soul who noticed she was
pregnant and had something wrong with her eyes. She was born in February
2007 and we are treating her for a small eye infection and anxiously awaiting
the birth of her kittens. Mitze is very friendly and loves to purr!
As you can tell from the photo, it didn't take her long to comfortable in her
"birthing room", the photo was taken about an hour after she came to the shelter
from the vet clinic! A sweet girl that we bet is going to be a great mom.

UPDATE MONDAY MORNING MARCH 24: Mitze gave birth this morning.
She had 5 kittens. There are 4 girls and 1 boy.

The short hair all orange female is
Pumpkin;

orange and white female with a white stripe down
the middle of her back is Saffron;

orange and white female with small white dot
between her shoulders and white tip on tail is Karat;

Orange female with long hair is
Sienna and Dijon
is the orange male

reserved...but Mom is still waiting for a family to reserve her.
