Sara
is approximately 4 years old and was recently hit by a car and injured her front
elbow. She had surgery to repair the elbow and ligament and is healing
very well. Her surgery and recovery is possible because Animal
Lifeline and Animal Rescue League joined together

to help Sara when she needed it the most.

UPDATE February 8, 2008: Sara had her 7 day
follow-up vet appointment and the bandage has been removed. The vet was
pleased with her recovery so far and while she will be on leash walk only for
about 2 weeks, we except a full recovery. She is housetrained, good with
children and good with other dogs. She can be a little shy with strangers
but warms up quickly.
