Meet Sophie, a 7 year old Sheltie.  She came to us by way of a tragic car accident that put her original guardian in a coma and she was then fostered by a couple until they could no longer afford her care.  As you can tell, Sophie has a very special hair-do.  We are not sure that she finds it stylish, but when she arrived her skin was in such horrible condition, due to untreated allergies, that she had to be shaved.  We are working hard to find the cause of the allergies but we do know that Sophie will require lifelong medication and prescription food.
