$75 per person (advanced purchase)
Reserved table for up to 8 individuals $600 (pre-purchase only)
All tickets are will-call, no printed tickets will be mailed or distributed.

This highly anticipated event hosts nearly 300 guests for an evening of shopping, cocktails, dinner and dessert while supporting a great cause.

Auction items include weekend getaways, fine art, gift certificates, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind treasures. Not only is it a fabulous way to network and celebrate, but you are contributing to animals in need who have no voice except for the ones we create for them out of a simple act of compassion.

PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT
In addition to the incredible shopping and extraordinary energy of the evening, the goal is to raise over $130,000 and awareness for the special needs animals we support.

This event allows Animal Lifeline to continue to save dogs and cats who have been severely abused; are handicapped, injured, pregnant, or nursing; or have been orphaned and need to be bottle-fed—animals that may not have a chance at a traditional shelter. Animal Lifeline cares for each animal until a forever home can be found.

We are 100% supported by private donations and proceeds from our Thrift Shop. We receive no government funding. As a no-kill rescue, we manage our intakes based on our available resources and adoption demand. The more community support we have, the more animals we can save.

You will receive an email prior to the event from Info@animallifelineia.org confirming your purchase, confirming meal selection, and providing additional event information.

Animal Lifeline of Iowa

Animal Lifeline of Iowa (ALI) is Central Iowa’s only special needs, no-kill animal shelter, celebrating 30 years of serving the Des Moines area and all of Iowa. We rescue cats and dogs that are injured, handicapped, have a serious medical condition, abused, pregnant and nursing moms, or orphans that require bottle feeding. We rehabilitate the animals, who run a higher risk of euthanasia in a traditional shelter setting, and then adopt them into loving forever homes. Animal are not euthanized because they have been at the shelter for a certain length of time.

Animal Lifeline of IOWA’s 2022 SAVE RATE = 95%

Animal Lifeline’s No-Kill Shelter Agreement
Our shelter is committed to saving every animal in our care who can be saved.
We do not euthanize healthy or treatable pets even at an owner's request.
We only euthanize a pet if:
A veterinarian has assessed that there is no chance of recovering an acceptable quality of life, or It would be clearly inhumane or unsafe not to do so immediately, or
In cases of irremediable canine aggression when (1) a veterinarian has eliminated medical treatment as a solution; (2) rehabilitation by a specialist in canine behavior has failed; (3) staff and public safety cannot be reasonably assured, or other management protocols seriously compromise the quality of life.
The reason(s) our shelter could fall below the 90% benchmark; our shelter has a relatively high number of animals who die in care because:
We have a neonatal kitten program. Neonatal kittens have fragile immune systems and often arrive at the shelter as orphans and with compromised health. We make every effort to treat and care for kittens until they are eating on their own and healthy enough to go to a foster home, but some lives are still lost despite those efforts.
We accept and provide medical care to old, injured, and sick animals. Some do not make it, despite our best efforts.
